The Sharezy project centered around building a dynamic, dual-role membership platform designed to connect Home Hosts and Home Mates. The platform enables users to register under their respective roles and appear in role-specific directories with advanced filtering options. It provides each member with a personalized profile and dashboard experience, helping users find suitable housing matches in a user-friendly and organized way. The project also involved thoughtful UX improvements, guided onboarding, and flexible backend configuration to support both community growth and administrative control. Key Contributions: ✅ Set up two user roles with dedicated directories and filters. ✅ Ensured only approved users are publicly visible. ✅ Enhanced registration with guidance sections and a required bio field. ✅ Modernized the design and improved UX for both roles. ✅ Configured Ultimate Member plugin and visibility settings. ✅ Unpublished Sharezy pages and set up redirects on ezyashome. ✅ Adapted to client’s shifting schedule, with final changes deferred to July. A clean, scalable WordPress solution tailored for community-driven interaction.
